Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the answer of 8 September 2026 to Question 20414 on Religious Buildings: Registration, what is the change in the number of certified places of worship from (a) June 2024 to (b) the most recent period for which figures are available.
This question was answered on 14th October 2026
On 12 October 2026 there were 29,324 buildings certified as a place of worship, compared with 29,400 on 30 June 2024.
