Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what steps she is taking to improve the wellbeing of teachers during Ofsted inspections.

Inspection and accountability are essential to ensuring every child receives a high-quality education. However, this should not come at the expense of teacher and headteacher wellbeing, which we take incredibly seriously.

The department is working with Ofsted and sector leaders to ensure accountability is collaborative, proportionate and fair, while remaining focused on delivering the best outcomes for children.
