Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, with reference to the Government amendment at Commons Report Stage to the Representation of the People Bill, on Postal vote re-applications: moving from 3- to 5-year cycle, what consultation of (a) political parties and (b) the Parliamentary Parties Panel was there on the proposal before it was tabled.

The Government discussed this amendment with the Parliamentary Parties Panel ahead of it being debated at Commons Report stage.
