Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, when she intends to announce the exact spending allocations for delivery of Transport for Wales' £14 billion pipeline of rail projects as endorsed on 17 February 2026.
This question was answered on 19th October 2026
The UK Government has endorsed the Transport for Wales vision for rail investment and agreed that it should form the basis of the Wales Rail Board’s pipeline of future projects. The Transport for Wales vision for rail investment will be considered as part of future spending reviews.
