JP Morgan: Business Rates

Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, pursuant to the answer of 8 September 2026, to Question 20419, on JP Morgan: Business Rates, if he will place a copy of the Memorandum of Understanding on the JP Morgan business rates zone in the Library.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding between HM Government, local authorities and JP Morgan, the total cost of the relief is capped to ensure that the programme would deliver value for money for the taxpayer.
In line with the confidentiality provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), a copy of the MoU will not be placed in the library.
