Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether the National Lung Cancer Screening Programme in England will (a) move to Section 7A funding and (b) be ring fenced beyond 2030.

Further to the answer provided on 18 November 2025 to Question 89179, I refer the Hon. Member to the Department's National Cancer Plan for England, which sets out the Government's commitment to completing the national rollout of lung cancer screening by 2030.
