Processing times are not published by military goods and dual use goods. As part of the Department’s Strategic Export Controls quarterly statistics publication, Table C provides processing times by country, for licences processed on SPIRE and LITE from 2008.

The median processing times for Standard Individual Export Licenses (SIEL) destined for the United States in the LITE licensing system was 19 days in 2023, 17 days in 2024 and 18 days in 2025. The LITE licensing system was introduced in 2023, hence there is no data on LITE between 2020-2022. See table C for median processing times for SIELs destined for the United States processed on SPIRE.
