Since Financial Year 2021/22, MHCLG has provided all 38 LRFs in England with Capacity & Capability Funding, averaging £180,000 per LRF per annum. In addition, our Stronger LRF Trailblazer programme provides 5 LRFs (Cumbria, Greater Manchester, London, Northumbria and Suffolk) with additional average resource of £550,000 per annum for a 4 year period starting in 2025/26 to test significantly strengthening resilience arrangements and provide evidence for the next Spending Review.
