Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether Homes England has undertaken a post-award evaluation of the Affordable Homes Programme grant allocation awarded to McCarthy Stone (Shared Ownership) Ltd in 2021, including an assessment of the funding's value for money and delivery outcomes for residents.

Homes England has governance and assurance mechanisms to monitor delivery, performance and compliance, including whether allocations remain deliverable and funding conditions are met.

Individual Strategic Partnerships are subject to ongoing scrutiny and oversight throughout the life of their grant agreements. Homes England does not undertake post-award evaluations of individual Strategic Partnership allocations.
