The United Kingdom continues to promote safe, legal and ethical development and use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the military domain. The UK co-sponsored the UN resolution on Artificial Intelligence in the Military Domain and contributed to the subsequent Secretary-General's report on its implications for international peace and security. We are working with partners on follow-up discussions at the United Nations to build international understanding of opportunities, risks and practical risk-reduction measures. The UK also co-sponsors the Responsible AI in the Military Domain (REAIM) process and works with NATO Allies to advance the Alliance's approach to the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
