Extended Producer Responsibility for packaging incentivises producers to use more recyclable packaging. Defra, PackUK, and the Department of Health and Social Care are working to support industry on how they comply with the regulations. Any changes to medicine packaging must maintain product safety and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
