Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the Answer of 8 September 2026 to Question 21973 on High Speed 2 Line, in what year she expects the plans referred to in that Answer to be realised.

We expect the feasibility work that is now underway to conclude by the end of 2027. Further decisions will be required once this work is complete.
