Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what outcomes and deliverables they expect the Task and Finish Group on private finance for sustainable food production and nature-based solutions to produce, and by what date.

The Farm Profitability and Private Finance Taskforce is expected to be established this Autumn. Its workplan, priorities and outcomes will be subject to agreement with its members, but the Secretary of State and I expect its outputs to be targeted, focussed and practical.
