To support the UK's security and growth objectives the Government is scaling up the National Security Strategic Investment Fund (NSSIF) investments during this Spending Review period. As announced in the National Security Strategy and Modern Industrial Strategy, NSSIF will receive up to £330 million of capital over the Spending Review period. This expansion will enable NSSIF to back more early-stage firms developing technologies in artificial intelligence and data, quantum technologies, space and communications, and other emerging technology sectors, while attracting further private investment into the UK ecosystem.
