Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, if she will expand Ministerial Surgery appointments for Civil Service Pensions to be available to Teachers' Pensions.

Responsibility for the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS) rests with my right hon. Friend, Secretary of State for Education. Regular sessions are held with Members of Parliament, at which they are invited to raise concerns relating to any area of my ministerial portfolio.

Alongside this, established routes are available for members to raise queries or concerns with Teachers’ Pensions, which administers the scheme on behalf of the department. Where appropriate, matters can also be raised with the department through its existing correspondence channels.
