Increased domestic defence investment will improve our security and stability and boost economic growth, through more skills, innovation and spillover effects.

The government will ensure that economic growth considerations are central to decision-making in the allocation of defence investment. Our Defence Investment Plan will back British workers, support businesses and innovation, and create thousands of better-skilled jobs and apprenticeships by increasing Defence exports.
