To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, with reference to The Defence Investment Plan Funding explainer, published on 30 June 2026, whether her Department is required to contribute to the funding laid out under line 5, Reduce departmental capital budgets by one per cent.

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport is reducing departmental capital budgets by 1% over the current Spending Review period to contribute to the Defence Investment Plan.
