Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether HM Treasury has made an assessment of the potential impact of an increase in the rate of Machine Games Duty on receipts from (a) National Insurance contributions and (b) business rates.

The Chancellor makes decisions on tax policy at fiscal events, and does not routinely comment on proposals.
