Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what recent discussions he has had with the Office for Budgetary Responsibility on public borrowing.

The Chancellor engages regularly with the OBR’s Budget Responsibility Committee, including in preparation for fiscal events. The OBR publishes a log of substantive contact between the OBR and Ministers and their Special Advisers, alongside its Economic and Fiscal Outlook.
