Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what steps her Department is taking to ensure co-operative business models are promoted through courses at agricultural colleges and universities.

We recognise the importance of collaboration between farms. Our £30m Farmer Collaboration Fund enables groups of farmers to work in partnership to improve business and environmental sustainability. We also recognise gaps in business skills and are working with the land-based education sector and DfE on qualification reform to address them.
