The Department has not identified evidence that the Summer Bus Fare Offer led to an increase in anti-social behaviour nationwide.

The Department worked closely with operators, local transport authorities and representative groups on the design and delivery of the scheme, and operators retained their existing powers and procedures for managing passenger behaviour and safety.
