Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether his Department is considering (a) reducing and (b) reprofiling funding for hydrogen transport and storage.

The government recognises that Hydrogen can help reindustrialise Britain by cutting emissions from heavy industry and providing clean power, helping to maintain our manufacturing base, and creating new clean energy industries and skilled jobs in our industrial heartlands.

The Chancellor will set out his plans for spending at future fiscal events.
