Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, when she will appoint the Unpaid Carers Champion.
This question was answered on 23rd October 2026
On 30 September 2026, my Rt Hon. Friend, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, announced plans to appoint a Champion for Unpaid Carers. Work to establish the role is underway and further information will be announced in due course.
