Question to the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade, further to WPQ response 34887, whether his Department has made a submission to the consultation on the ZEV mandate.

The Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (BIST) is not an external stakeholder and so will not be submitting a response to the consultation. BIST is engaging on this issue with Department for Transport, other relevant Whitehall Departments and the Devolved Governments. No decisions have been made yet as the ZEV Mandate Review consultation closes on 23 October. Responses will inform our approach as the UK continues to transition to zero emission vehicles and as we continue to work together with industry to make Britain cleaner, more secure, and more prosperous
