The Insolvency Service’s standard correspondence explains that a decision not to take disqualification action does not prevent any other investigation, action or legal proceedings, whether civil or criminal.

This expressly includes separate action by an insolvency office-holder, such as a liquidator or administrator, acting under their own powers and responsibilities.
