To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, when she expects negotiations on an EU-UK SPS agreement regarding plant species movements between GB and NI to be concluded.

The department is in the advanced stages of negotiations with the European Union on a sanitary and phytosanitary agreement. This Government remains committed to concluding negotiations ahead of the next UK-EU Summit on 20 November.
