Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what assessment he has made of the potential contribution of deep geothermal energy to the objectives of the Energy Wealth Fund.

Established within the National Wealth Fund (NWF), the Energy Wealth Fund (EWF) will invest in renewable and low carbon energy infrastructure across the UK, helping unlock growth and supporting projects that will drive the country’s transition to a low-carbon economy.
