Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, what fire risk assessments have been carried out on the use of polystyrene ceiling tiles; and whether this product should be removed from the market.

Unmodified polystyrene ceiling tiles do not comply with Part B of the Building Regulations (fire) and should not be used in new buildings.
