Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, pursuant to WPQ 34373, thus far what the response has been from traders on their experience of the Windsor Framework arrangements for SPS movements.

Traders have generally welcomed the facilitations offered by the Windsor Framework movement schemes. Defra has engaged with businesses on implementation issues and technical matters. The new SPS agreement with the EU will remove the vast majority of SPS checks and certificates for goods moving from Great Britain to Northern Ireland.
