In the 2025 calendar year, 47,210 people completed the Home Office's free e-learning course for frontline staff on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).

This is part of a range of resources the Home Office provides to help professionals understand and respond to FGM, recognising the vital role of frontline and statutory services in identifying those at risk and supporting victims.

As part of the Government’s package of measures to tackle ‘honour’-based abuse, we are also developing four new e-learning modules for professionals and updating the existing FGM and forced marriage modules.
