Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what targets HM Treasury has set for departmental productivity improvements in 2026–27.

For 2026–27, the government committed to delivering £4,758 million in technical efficiencies, supported by bespoke departmental delivery plans agreed with the Office for Value for Money as part of Spending Review 2025. The published Departmental Efficiency Plans set out a departmental breakdown of technical efficiency targets across the Spending Review 2025 period.
