Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what steps she is taking with Cabinet colleagues to help prepare coastal communities for flooding and strengthen vulnerable roads in order to minimise disruption.
Flooding is a devolved matter. This Government is investing at least £10.5 billion until 2036 in England to construct and repair flood defences, including coastal defences that protect vulnerable infrastructure such as roads.
