Funding for HIV treatment and care services is provided by NHS England and NHS Improvement through specialised commissioning. HIV testing and prevention is funded by local government through the ringfenced Public Health Grant. Decisions on future funding will be taken in the forthcoming Spending Review

The Department is currently developing a new Sexual and Reproductive Health Strategy and an HIV Action Plan towards the 2030 target, both of which are planned for publication later this year.
