Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if she will make it her Department's policy to allow special considerations on the income threshold for the non-EEA partner of a British citizen if that partner is from a country experiencing war or conflict.

In all cases where an application under the family Immigration Rules fails to meet the minimum income threshold or other requirement, the decision maker will consider whether there are exceptional circumstances to warrant a grant of leave outside the Rules.
