My Rt Hon. Friend the then Foreign Secretary (Phillip Hammond) was made aware of reports that UK-made BL-755 cluster munitions were used in Yemen in an update to the Minister on May 23, 2016.

The current Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, my Rt Hon. Friend the Member for Uxbridge and South Ruislip (Mr Johnson) was aware of the allegations before entering the office. He was briefed by officials during his first month in office.
