Question to the Department for Exiting the European Union :

To ask the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, how many full-time equivalent staff his Department has had in each month to date since it was established.

I refer the hon. Member to the answer given to 44229 for the total in July/September, and 46255 for October.


All departments are equipping themselves with the resources they need to get the best deal for the UK. We are not in a position to give a final total as recruitment is ongoing and we will not be giving a running commentary. The Department for Exiting the European Union as of November 2016 has just over 300 staff, and is growing fast.
