Question to the Scotland Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland, what recent discussions he has had with the Scottish Government on the delivery of Defence Technical Excellence Colleges.

I want young people right across Scotland to benefit from the defence dividend delivered by this Government.

Through our £50 million Defence Growth Deal, we are ensuring Scotland remains a global leader in advanced maritime engineering.

I welcome the fact that the Scottish Government has finally agreed to match-fund our two Defence Technical Excellence Colleges. Now that Holyrood is on board, we can press ahead with delivery and open up world-class apprenticeships and training for Scotland.
