Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, pursuant to the Answer of 12 June to Question 6498 on Holiday Accommodation: Registration, whether she will publish a timetable for implementing the registration scheme for short-term lets.

The government believes in introducing regulation to tackle the housing crisis, and specifically creating a register for short term lets.

This will help level the playing field and support local communities. The government will publish a timetable shortly.
