His Majesty’s Government recognises the benefits of new and improved technology in improving product traceability, monitoring, and efficiency in UK supply chains. The Global Supply Chains Intelligence Programme (GSCIP) uses data-driven approaches, including artificial intelligence and advanced analytics, to improve supply chain visibility and identify potential points of disruption. This has helped to support more timely and evidence-based decision-making within government to strengthen UK supply chain resilience.
