Question to the Department for Exiting the European Union :

To ask Her Majesty’s Government what arrangements they are putting in place for the preservation of key records relating to the Brexit process in order to ensure their availability to an official historian.

The Government takes very seriously its obligations under the Public Records and Freedom of Information Acts. The Department for Exiting the European Union is taking steps, working closely with the Cabinet Office and The National Archives, to establish robust systems and processes to make sure accurate and comprehensive records are kept.
