Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask His Majesty's Government how many road traffic collisions resulting in (1) fatalities, and (2) serious injuries, involved a vehicle travelling in the wrong direction on a motorway in England and Wales in each of the last three years.

The Department does not hold information to answer this question without a disproportionate cost.
