To ask The Senior Deputy Speaker whether the official portraits of HM Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh in the Royal Gallery in the Palace of Westminster will be replaced by portraits of the current King and Queen; and if so, when.

This matter is under consideration by the Lord Speaker’s Advisory Panel on Works of Art, in discussion with the House of Lords administration and the Royal Household. An announcement will be made in due course.
