Question to the Home Office:
To ask His Majesty's Government what steps they are taking to ensure that services for parents commissioned by Violence Reduction Units are delivered through Family Hubs.
Violence Reduction Units (VRUs) work with local partners to understand and address the drivers of serious violence in their communities and deliver locally tailored strategies and interventions.
Decisions on how services are commissioned and delivered, including support for parents and families, are best made locally to ensure they reflect local context and meet the needs of individual communities.
Family Hubs may form part of this local delivery landscape, and we would encourage this join up where appropriate, but there is no specific requirement for relevant delivery to be made through them.
