To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Minister for the Cabinet Office, what steps his Department has taken since the judgment issued by Mr Justice Swift in May 2019 that the tactile voting device for blind people was unlawful.

The Government continues to work with the Cabinet Office chaired Accessibility of Elections Working Group to make an informed assessment of the most suitable options to take forward. We are due to hold a dedicated meeting on this topic with the Royal National Institute of Blind People shortly.

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, if he will implement those parts of the 2014 EU Procurement Directives that would introduce reserved contracts for mutuals.

In its recent consultation document, the Government proposed to implement those parts of the 2014 EU Public Procurement Directives that allow certain contracts to be reserved for organisations such as mutuals:
