The Tory government appointed an expert to advise on the funding needed for a catch-up plan for education. When the report was received they allocated only 10% of the amount recommended!

Suffer little childrren? In February the Tories appointed Sir kevan Collins as Education Recovery Commissioner to tackle the damage done by the corona virus to pupils from deprived backgrounds. They allocated a tenth of the amount he recommended!

The Labour Government had a £55bn building plan for schools. The Tories scrapped it. The average secondary school now needs £1.6m for repairs after the repair budget fell by 44% since 2010, the National Union of School Teachers reveals.
