Why has the security scanner at Eurostar Gare du MIDI stopped my watch?
@GdnPolitics I do not agree with this article. I am wholly opposed to extending charges in the NHS as the 2012 Act made clear.
The shooting of former PM Abe is shocking and is a dreadful loss to Japan. It is an appalling attack on democracy. As Chair of the U.K.-Japan 21st Century Group, we greatly valued our memorable meetings with Shinzo Abe. We stand in shared grief with all our Japanese friends.
@andrewpolitics @Keir_Starmer @BobJBlizzard We may have been on opposite sides but Bob was always a pleasure to talk to and a fine representative for his constituents. Sad news.

This is shocking ; David Amess has always been dedicated to his constituents. He was a good friend to so many in Westminster. Why?!
@1SVN Hi Sheila, there was a pre-existing set of definitions relating to mixed-sex accommodation. I do not recall changing those. We tightened the requirement so that the NHS delivered on its previously-stated aim not to place patients in MSA. And we brought the numbers down.
@ChrisPincher Deputy heads must roll!
@PhilRodgers Isn’t South Cambs significantly different in the PCC vote?
@PhilRodgers @CambsPboroCA Elections change things, don’t they? That’s what makes democracy so exciting... In this case, four districts voted for James P and two for Nik J. But the City and South Cambs turnout was much higher. A telling case for the importance of turnout.
