Written Question
Developing Countries: Malnutrition
Wednesday 15th March 2017

Asked by: Lord Pendry (Labour - Life peer)

Question to the Department for International Development:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government, in the light of their manifesto pledge to improve the nutrition of 50 million people by 2020, what steps they are taking to tackle malnutrition globally.

Answered by Lord Bates

Current forecasts show we are on track to meet this target as well as to meet commitments made at the Nutrition for Growth Summit, 2013.
