Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask His Majesty's Government whether they intend to seek to progress the High Speed Rail (Crewe–Manchester) Bill through Parliament.

The government does intend to progress the High Speed Rail (Crewe-Manchester) Bill through parliament.

The Bill received its Second Reading in the House of Commons in June and is awaiting its special Select Committee Stage.
