To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, on what dates he has had meetings with the representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises to discuss strengthening UK supply chains in advance of the UK leaving the EU.

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State meets with representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises regularly and discusses a range of topics. As part of these discussions the impact of the UK leaving the EU on the strength of competitive supply chains are discussed.

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, when he plans to meet energy industry representatives to discuss the cancellation of the carbon capture and storage competition.

The Government continues to meet with the carbon capture and storage (CCS) industry on the future of carbon capture and storage in the UK following the decision to close the CCS Competition in January 2016.
