Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what proportion of priority applications for Tier 2 visas were not processed before the 60 day limit in each of the last three years.

Statistics relating to the processing of entry clearance visas (out of country) and in-country casework, against service standards are published as part of the Home Office’s Migration Transparency data.

Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what estimate she has made of the number of non-UK seasonal workers from the EU that are required for the (a) agricultural, (b) construction and (c) hospitality industries after the UK has left the EU.

Answered by Brandon Lewis

The Government has commissioned the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) to assess the impact of leaving the EU on both seasonal and non-seasonal employment. The MAC will report in September 2018 but may produce interim reports before then.
